Heavy metals removal plant

:: Since underground waters are important sources in producing drinking water in villages, particularly in developing countries, using new methods of underground water purification is of specific importance. Most pollutants in the underground water resources are caused by penetration of sewages and irregular use of chemical fertilizers or structure of the land in pollutions per case. Therefore, using conventional membrane methods impose energy and additional costs in water purification and treatment.

:: Some of the sources of underground water contain heavy metals such as chrome, mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic…the presence of those elements in drinking waters is a large challenge and a serious risk to man and other creatures’ health.

:: The heavy metal removal plant, by using a safe, economical and highly applicable method, provides healthy and sound drinking water in access of rural and urban population. Since the concentration of heavy metals in the underground waters differs from one place to another and even one season to another season, this technology is able to perform the purification operations with any concentration of heavy metals and bring the concentration of heavy metals to the less than standard limit (set by International Standards).

:: These systems could be designed in a way that could remove one or more pollutants by adding separate systems:

  1. Iron, Manganese and Ammonia removal plant
  2. Chromium & Lead removal plant
  3. Lead removal plant
  4. Arsenic removal plant
